Note From The Principal
Sequoyah serves approximately 360 students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Our school provides a progressive education and specifically designed instruction for every student’s individual learning needs. Sequoyah has earned the distinction of being a model OTISS school for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. Not only are academics important, but the staff works with students on social skills development, goal setting, and behavioral needs.
Mrs. Terri Lemos has been the principal of Sequoyah since 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Wichita State University, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University and Educational Leadership Certification from Baker University. Mrs. Lemos and her husband moved here from Kansas in 2012.
