SPS Virtual School Orientation Schedule Announced
Launch the media gallery 1 playerShawnee Virtual School will begin the week of Aug. 24. The times and locations for orientation are as follows:
- Pre-K and Kindergarten, Monday, August 24 at Shawnee Early Childhood Center. (Sequoyah Kindergarten students will attend orientation at Sequoyah, not SECC.)
- 1st-5th grade, Tuesday, August 25 at the traditional school site. For example, if a student would normally attend Jefferson, then orientation is at Jefferson.
- 6th-8th grade, Thursday, August 27 at Shawnee Middle School.
- 9th-12th students who attend completely virtual, Thursday, August 27 at Shawnee High Performing Arts Center.
- 9th-12th students with a blended schedule, Friday, August 28 at Shawnee High Performing Arts Center.
Times each night are as follows:
5:30-6 p.m. last names A-G
6:15-6:45 p.m. last names H - N
7-7:30 p.m. last names O - S
7:45-8:15 p.m. last names T - Z
