2022-2023 Enrollment Information Now Available

ENROLLMENT FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS
Students who will be new to the district or students who did not end the 2021-2022 school year with Shawnee Public Schools need to visit the Shawnee Enrollment Center website to complete the enrollment process and schedule an appointment with the enrollment manager. The Enrollment Center is taking appointments now.
ELEMENTARY ENROLLMENT FOR ALL STUDENTS
All Shawnee Early Childhood Center, Horace Mann, Jefferson, Sequoyah and Will Rogers students, new and returning, should complete enrollment forms during one of the following dates and times:
- Monday-Wednesday, July 25-27, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school site.
- Thursday, July 28, noon to 7 p.m. at the school site.
Parents/guardians, please bring a photo ID, updated immunization records (if necessary), and proof of residence (water bill, gas bill, electric bill, lease or rental agreement, or Vyve bill).
IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION
According to Oklahoma law, all students entering school must meet immunization requirements. Parents should contact their physician or local health department to make appointments for immunizations prior to enrollment. Bring updated immunization records to enrollment. Students must provide updated immunization records in order to start school on Aug. 11.
For school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:
1. Current, up-to-date immunization records; or
2. A completed and signed exemption form.
Total Wellness will be at Shawnee Middle School during enrollment Aug. 4. See the enrollment information for Shawnee Middle School section below for more information.
Total Wellness will be at Shawnee Early Childhood Center on July 25 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The Caring Van also will be at SECC on July 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and July 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
ENROLLMENT FOR SHAWNEE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Enrollment for SMS is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4. Parents must bring a photo ID, updated immunization records (if necessary), and a proof of residence (water bill, gas bill, electric bill, lease or rental agreement, or Vyve bill). Incoming seventh graders are required to received a Tdap vaccine. Parents may contact their physician or local health department to receive the vaccine. Total Wellness will also have vaccines available at SMS during enrollment.
SCHEDULE PICKUP FOR SHAWNEE HIGH SCHOOL
Schedule Pick Up Day for SHS is on Thursday, Aug. 4. Students in grades 11-12 will pick up their schedules 9 a.m. to noon. Students in grades 9-10 will pick up their schedules 2-6 p.m.
SHS students must provide a proof of residence (water bill, gas bill, electric bill, lease or rental agreement, or Vyve bill) and updated immunization records (if necessary).
