About Us
Shawnee Adult Learning Center applies a managed enrollment procedure when filling classes. SALC currently has a minimum of one enrollment session scheduled each month. During enrollment, students are pre-tested with the appropriate level of TABE (Tests of Adult Basic Education) Tests in reading, mathematics (computation and applied), and language.
Classes at SALC are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes also have a maximum number of seats available.
All teachers at SALC are certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Minors wishing to enroll in classes at SALC must call for information at (405) 878-3101.
