The SHS Spring Homecoming ceremony will begin at approximately 7:15 p.m., January 25, at the Performing Arts and Athletic Center (PAAC) gymnasium during the Shawnee Wrestling Duals. Wrestling duals begin at 5 p.m. Admission is $6. Children ages six and under are admitted free.

Due to potentially hazardous side roads, parking lots, and sidewalks, SPS will cancel classes and have a traditional snow day on Tuesday, January 23. Students will not need to complete any online work on Tuesday. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.

Evening activities scheduled for January 16, including basketball games and spring homecoming ceremonies, will be rescheduled.
Homecoming will be January 25 at the wrestling match vs. Noble. Time and location of the match will be announced soon.

The SHS Academic Letter Jacket recipients will be honored during a halftime presentation. Academic Letter Jackets are sponsored by Arvest Bank and are awarded to the top 5% of the graduating class.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students in grades 1-12 and for adults ages 62 and older with an ID.

Drivers must stop and wait until the red lights stop flashing, the extended stop-arm is withdrawn, and the bus begins moving before starting to drive again.
