It’s time for Shawnee Youth Football signups!!
If you have a 1st-6th grade student at Shawnee, Grove School, Pleasant Grove Public School, Liberty Academy, or homeschool, they are invited to join the Shawnee Youth Football league!
Sign ups will be this Thursday-Saturday at Play It Again Sports - Shawnee, OK from 6:00-7:30 PM.

SPS families, an important event is happening tomorrow: Primary Election Day. On Tuesday, June 18, registered voters will have the opportunity to participate in elections that will impact our community. Use the OK Voter Portal (okvoterportal.okelections.us) to find polling locations and review sample ballots. Thanks to Gordon Cooper Technology Center construction and masonry trade students, all Shawnee Public Schools 5th grade classrooms received monster inch fraction boards. Gordon Cooper's students fully constructed and donated the boards to help students see real world application of fractions and math knowledge that they will need for future careers. #ShawneeSTRONG #CareerReady #WorkforceDevelopment

Good Morning, Team Sequoyah! We've achieved our school goal of answering 1 million IXL questions, and it's time to celebrate! Get ready for a blast at the Sequoyah Block Party today! We've got it all: 2 awesome inflatables, sidewalk chalk for creative masterpieces, a dino dig, bubbles, yard games, volleyball, and groovy tunes! Plus, snow cones at recess and a Zumba Dance Party, thanks to one of our amazing parents! Snow cones are just $2 and inflatables are $1. Parents, you are welcome to come during your student's specials or recess time for a day of fun and community (you will need your ID to check-in). Thank you for all your efforts in supporting your student and contributing to a successful school year!

Great news! Power has been restored at Sequoyah Elementary. Thank you for your patience.

Sequoyah Elementary will be beginning the school day without electricity. Our administrative team has been in communication with OG&E, and we are confident that power will be restored soon. Breakfast will be served this morning, and we will continue the school day as normal as possible.
