group of homecoming candidates on field

Shawnee High School celebrated its 2025 Fall Homecoming on Thursday, October 23rd, with a night full of excitement, school spirit, and community pride. Although the Wolves’ football game was called early due to weather, the team secured a victory, and the evening’s Homecoming Court was honored on the field before kickoff.

This year’s theme, “Once Upon a Pack,” brought a fairytale atmosphere to Jim Thorpe Stadium as students, families, and fans gathered to celebrate the tradition of Homecoming at Shawnee High School.

Prior to the game, Sequoyah Elementary students had the opportunity to “Run with the Wolves,” joining the team on the field in a special pregame tradition that celebrates the connection between younger students and their high school role models. The evening also included recognition of the Shawnee Softball team for their outstanding season, along with two players named to the All-District team: Coachana Martin and Jocelyn Hayes.

Representing a wide range of student organizations and activities, this year’s Homecoming nominees included:

  • Football: Ja’Qwon Evans, Kaden Bramlage, Abryel Chambers

  • Volleyball: Kylee Moore

  • Softball: Aanyiah Lambert

  • Cross Country: Essence Dansby, Ayden Ringwald

  • Swim: Tenielle Kidd, Dravin Little
