Shawnee Public Schools is excited to announce that enrollment is now open for new-to-the-district students entering Pre-Kindergarten at Shawnee Early Childhood Center and for incoming freshmen at Shawnee High School for the upcoming school year.

From a child’s first classroom experience to the beginning of their high school journey, Shawnee Public Schools offers strong academics, meaningful opportunities, and a supportive environment designed to help students thrive.

Pre-K at Shawnee Early Childhood Center provides young learners with an engaging setting where foundational academic, social, and emotional skills are developed. With experienced educators and developmentally appropriate instruction, students begin school in an environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Shawnee High School offers incoming freshmen a dynamic and well-rounded high school experience. Students benefit from rigorous academic coursework, career and technical education pathways, fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities that allow them to explore interests and prepare for future success. Strong relationships with teachers and staff ensure students are supported and challenged throughout their high school years.
