We love seeing our Wolves in action! We’re so proud of Shawnee High School - Official senior Manuela Parada (Class of 2026), who was selected for the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship with Leadership Initiatives! This incredible program gave her the chance to work with doctors in Nigeria through telehealth, develop a public health campaign on respiratory infections, and practice hands-on medical skills like suturing and intubation. Last night, Shawnee’s Board of Education passed board policy FNG in response to Senate Bill 139, which requires all public school districts in Oklahoma to prohibit student use of personal electronic devices during the school day.
