Shawnee Public Schools invites the community to come together for an evening of celebration and school pride at the district’s first-ever Pack the Stadium event, scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, at Jim Thorpe Stadium.
The event is designed to showcase Shawnee students and the strong community spirit that defines the Wolf Pack. Guests will enjoy performances by the Shawnee High School cheer, pom, and band programs, along with opportunities to meet student-athletes representing fall sports, cheer on the homecoming candidates, and meet the recipients of this year’s Academic Letter Jackets.
A highlight of the evening will be the Howl Wall exhibition, featuring large-scale displays created by student organizations. This year’s Howl Walls reflect the homecoming theme, “Once Upon a Pack,” and celebrate creativity and school pride.
Food trucks will open at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot outside Jim Thorpe Stadium, followed by a community pep rally beginning at 6:30 p.m. inside Jim Thorpe Stadium. Families are encouraged to wear navy and white and help fill the stands in support of Shawnee students.
“This event is about more than athletics; it’s about celebrating our students, our schools, and the community that stands behind them,” said Athletic Director Dax Leone. “Pack the Stadium is a great reminder of what it means to be part of the Wolf Pack.”
The 2025 Pack the Stadium event is made possible through sponsorship from Georg Fischer and the Army National Guard, whose support helps promote student engagement and school spirit throughout the Shawnee district.
