homecoming king and queen

Shawnee High School celebrated Homecoming on Tuesday, February 10, with a memorable night of basketball, school spirit, and tradition as the Wolves took on Tulsa Hale. The evening was capped with victories for both the Lady Wolves and the Wolves, adding to an already electric Homecoming atmosphere.

The carnival-themed celebration, titled “The Greatest Homecoming of All Time,” featured the Homecoming Court presentation during the evening’s festivities. In front of a packed crowd, Tyray Fleeks was crowned Homecoming King and Tarilyn Theirry was crowned Homecoming Queen. Both students proudly represented Shawnee Wolves Track.

“Homecoming is one of those traditions that brings generations of Wolves together,” Jessica Hodges, Student Council Sponsor, shared. “Seeing our students celebrated by a packed gym, surrounded by families, alumni, and community members, is what makes nights like this so special. We are grateful for a community that consistently shows up to support our students and the experiences that shape their high school memories.”

Students representing a wide range of Shawnee High School programs and activities were honored as Homecoming candidates, including:

  • Art Club | Jordan Harper & Emma Becker
