Shawnee Public Schools is proud to recognize Shawnee High School senior Alivia Snow for her outstanding achievement in being selected to the University of Oklahoma’s highly competitive President’s Leadership Class (PLC) for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Snow was chosen from more than 10,000 applicants, with only 125 students selected to join this distinguished program, one of the highest honors awarded to incoming freshmen at the University of Oklahoma. The selection reflects her leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to service.

The President’s Leadership Class, established in 1961, is recognized as one of the premier leadership development programs in the state and nation. Students selected for PLC receive scholarships and participate in unique opportunities designed to cultivate leadership skills and community engagement.

In addition to her selection, Snow has also been chosen to represent her PLC class and the University of Oklahoma on an international experience at the university’s Arezzo campus in Italy during the summer following her freshman year, an honor that highlights her leadership potential on a global stage.

“Shawnee High School is so proud of Alivia and this remarkable accomplishment,” said Tara Cook, Shawnee High School Assistant Principal. “Her dedication and drive embody the very best of our students, and we are excited to see the impact she will make as she continues her journey.”

Shawnee Public Schools congratulates Alivia Snow on this recognition and looks forward to celebrating her continued success.
