Join us for a special Jim Thorpe Night on Friday, September 27th, at Jim Thorpe Stadium as the Shawnee Wolves take on Tulsa East Central! Kickoff is at 7:00 PM, but be sure to arrive early for a full evening of celebrations honoring the legendary Jim Thorpe and recognizing our local native heritage.
The night will begin at 6:15 PM with the unveiling of a new mural by native artist Nicholas Blanchard, followed by a ceremony at 6:45 PM to honor our local tribes. During halftime, enjoy a special performance by the Wolf Spirit Dancers, showcasing native traditions.
Before the game, don’t forget to stop by the tailgate hosted by First United Bank, with all proceeds benefiting the SHS Athletic Department. Indian tacos will also be available during the game, with funds supporting the Indian Education Department.
Elementary students will receive free entry with a paid adult, so bring the whole family and join us for this exciting night of football, culture, and community pride!
