Dear Sequoyah Parents,
Your Sequoyah PTA is hosting a Holiday Shop Dec. 4-7th for our students to purchase gifts for their family! A flyer and a money envelope were sent home this week. If you choose to participate, please help your child decide who they can purchase gifts for and how much to budget for each person. Most items are below $5, but can range up to $10. On Monday students will be previewing the shop and if money has been returned they may begin purchasing gifts! The shop will be open daily from 8 am - 2:20 pm; and in the evening on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 pm - 6 pm for you to come shop with your students! We hope to see you there!
Your Sequoyah PTA wishes you and your family a wonderful holiday season!

During #NationalSchoolBusSafetyWeek, let's all follow the rules of the road. Red flashing lights and extended stop arms indicate the bus has stopped and children are getting on or off. Drivers must stop and wait until the red lights stop flashing, the extended stop-arm is withdrawn, and the bus begins moving before starting to drive again. Thanks for keeping our Shawnee students safe! #ShawneeSTRONG

Hello Sequoyah Families! Tonight the Shawnee Fire Department presents "Public Educating Clowns." It is a free event about fire safety. It will begin at 7:00 at the Municipal Auditorium at 401 N Bell Street. Refreshments will be served too.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Indian Education Parent Committee has postponed the outdoor Back to School Bash originally scheduled for Thursday. Predicted storms Wednesday evening may cause poor conditions in the AVEDIS park amphitheater. Indian Education advisors will communicate a new indoor location and date for the event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please contact Graham Primeaux at gprimeaux@shawnee.k12.ok.us.
Thank you!
