Calling all swimmers! Showcase your skills and be a part of a winning tradition. Shawnee High School swim team tryouts are on Wednesday, August 21st at 5:30 PM at the Shawnee YMCA pool. *You will be asked to swim 25 yards (1 length) of each competitive stroke – freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Friday, August 9th, we will be having our Schedule Pick-Up for all high school students. The times are listed below:
11th and 12th Grades: 9am to 12:00pm
9th and 10th Grades: 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Everyone should enter using the Student Entrance on the north east side of the high school. On schedule pick up day, one of the most important items you will need to bring will be a hard copy of a utility bill (Water, Electric, Gas), or a copy of your lease agreement as proof of residence. WE WILL NOT BE TAKING DIGITAL BILLS, so please print it before you come.
There is information in the enrollment packet that a parent or guardian must complete. If a parent or guardian is unable to attend schedule pick up with the student, packets can be picked up from 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday starting Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in the Shawnee High School attendance office by the student or guardian. Photo ID will be required to pick up these packets in advance.
If this is your first time to attend Shawnee Public Schools, please make sure you have enrolled through the district office. Enrollment information can be found online.

It's almost break time for our Shawnee athletes! The OSSAA dead period is June 30-July 7. All SPS athletic facilities will be closed during this time.
Our coaches and sponsors will not have any contact with SMS and SHS students in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training, or instructing during the dead period. Enjoy your break, Wolves!

On Tuesday, June 18, registered voters will have the opportunity to participate in elections that will impact our community. Use the OK Voter Portal (okvoterportal.okelections.us) to find polling locations and review sample ballots. Seniors,
Diploma pick-up is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28 outside the main office at Shawnee High School. We will be available from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Students, you must be present in order to pick-up your diploma. Also, you must be hold free! All devices and fees must be paid, ect. Those completing credits in summer school may receive their diploma after summer school grades are finalized.
If you are unable to pick-up your diploma on May 28, you can come to the school during summer hours and retrieve it.
