Good afternoon,
On November 16th, your 10th grade student(s) will take part in the Pre-ACT. The Pre-ACT provides useful information to help your child choose the right high school courses, work on areas for improvement, and even begin discussions about their college and career interests. Each year we administer the PreACT to measure student growth and is a predictor for the ACT. On November 16th, all Sophomores will need to be at the High school by 8:30 am. This includes Virtual Students. Testing will be finished by 12pm and Virtual students will be available for pick-up at the East side of the Building near the PAAC. If any of the Virtual students need accommodations, then the test may take longer. Please arrange for a way for your student to contact you for pick up.
Also, please make sure all students know their home address.

Shawnee Senior parents, Project Graduation will meet this Thursday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. in the PAAC. Project Graduation is a parent-led event for seniors. This meeting is the final opportunity for a senior parent or group of parents to volunteer to lead the event.
