Elementary enrollment dates announced! All Horace Mann Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Sequoyah Elementary, and Will Rogers Elementary re-enrollment will take place together at Shawnee Middle School.

For the third year in a row, ALL Shawnee Public Schools students will receive free breakfast and lunch every school day: no forms, no fuss, just fuel for learning. 💙🍎🥪 Over the past two years, we've proudly served more than 1.2 million meals to our Wolves! That’s 1.2 million times we’ve helped students stay focused, full, and ready to grow. Let’s make this year the best one yet! At Shawnee Public Schools, every student matters, every meal counts.

It's been an epic summer! 🐾 Thanks to the incredible support from our Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grants and our amazing community partners, our SPS Kids Club students had a summer to remember!

From exploring the Oklahoma Science Museum, to catching summer flicks at AMC Cinema 8, and soaking up fun at Boy Scout Park with snow cones, hot dogs, and inflatables, June 2025's Wolfpack Extreme Adventure was a wild success!

📵 Devices Off. Learning On. Last night, Shawnee’s Board of Education passed board policy FNG in response to Senate Bill 139, which requires all public school districts in Oklahoma to prohibit student use of personal electronic devices during the school day. Personal devices like phones, smartwatches, and earbuds must be powered off and put away during the school day. We’re not just turning off devices, we’re turning on learning. What a ride! 🚲🚲 We celebrated National Bike to School Day in the best way: on two wheels and with a whole lot of fun! Jefferson Elementary, Shawnee, OK students joined forces with Pogo - A Blue Zones Certified Community and Commissioner Odneal for a bike bus straight up Louisa, pedaling to school together as a pack! Huge thanks to South Central Industries, Inc. for being our starting point. We have huge news from Shawnee Middle School! 🎉 Molly Newsom and Elinor Crane won 1st Place at the Oklahoma National History Day State Contest with their powerful documentary on the first woman police officer in U.S. history! Now they’re headed to the National Contest in Washington, D.C. this June to represent Shawnee on the national stage! Let’s also give a round of applause to our other amazing SMS historians, Gabriel Bramhall, Loralei Gragg, and Bowman Gragg, for making it to state and showing off their research skills and creativity! Shawnee High School’s own Annaliese Price and Manuela Parada, accompanied by North Rock Creek students, Cameron Black and Hope Streater, led the Gordon Cooper Technology Center debate team to 1st place in the state at the Oklahoma HOSA Leadership Conference!
